HTDA (methylcyclohexanediamine)

HTDA (methylcyclohexanediamine), molecular formula C7H16N2, similar to isophorone diamine (IPDA) in structure, has low hydrogen equivalent, low viscosity and good impact strength.

HTDA is a mixture of cis and trans isomers. At room temperature, it is a clear, transparent liquid with a slightly hydrogen like odor.

HTDA is an alicyclic amine monomer with side methyl group, which is a new alicyclic amine epoxy resin curing agent. This product can be used as curing agent alone, and can also be mixed with other common epoxy curing agents (such as fatty amine, alicyclic amine, aromatic amine, anhydride, etc.) or general accelerators (such as tertiary amine, imidazole, etc.).

It is suitable for composite materials, coatings, adhesives, flooring and other fields. It can be used in organic synthesis such as polyamide and polyimide. It can also be used in polyurethane as amine chain extender to form urea bond with isocyanate group to improve the comprehensive performance of the product.
